Review methodology
Draft text. This page must be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.
Research-based and tested reviews
A "Research-based review" uses official websites, pricing pages, documentation, affiliate program pages and public user discussions. These reviews never claim first-hand use.
A review shows "Tested by AI Partner Check" only after a standardized test with a published methodology version, test date and evidence.
How the score is calculated
The AI Partner Check score is a weighted average of five criteria, each rated from 0 to 10.
- Features (30%) — chat, memory, voice, image and video features.
- Value for money (25%) — what the free tier and paid plans include for the price.
- Privacy and safety (20%) — data deletion, training use of chats, billing and cancellation clarity.
- Ease of use (15%) — onboarding, interface and platforms.
- Content controls (10%) — clarity of the content policy and user control.
Ranking parameters
Rankings follow the score. An editor can change the order only with a written justification stored with the page. Affiliate commissions are never an input to scores or rankings.
Sources and freshness
Each important fact (price, features, privacy, availability, free tier) is linked to a source and a check date. Official sources take priority over third-party reviews.
Pages show a "Last checked" date. That date only changes after a real check.
